Which is better - a rigid or flexible nursing schedule?

Determining what type of feeding schedule works best for you takes some trial and error but over time you will get into a routine that will seem like second nature. Most moms find that a flexible schedule is best due to the fact that one baby may want to nurse more frequently than the other, however, trying to get your babies to nurse at the same time will make the most of your precious time. In an effort to get both babies on the same schedule, some mothers will let the more frequent eater dictate the feeding schedule. This will, over time, train both babies to nurse at the same time. Keep in mind though that the best nursing schedule is the one that works the best for you.
