How do you feed more than one baby at a time?

Feeding two babies at the same time can seem like a daunting task! There are multiple different feeding combinations and it may take some trial and error to find the feeding solution that is best for you and your twins. The first major decision you must make is determining if you are going to be breastfeeding or bottle feeding your babies. Sometimes it's not a simple decision and you may need to start with one and be willing to be flexible in your process for example, one baby may take to nursing easily while the other may prefer to bottle feed. The second decision is to determine if you want to feed your twins breast milk or formula - this too can be a combination of both. Pumping is a great way to increase your milk supply and introduce bottle feeding to your babies and formula can be a great substitute when either you are not producing enough breast milk or if you are away from your babies during a feeding.

As you can see there is not one specific answer but, if you are patient and willing to try different solutions, feeding your twins will soon become routine. A great investment when feeding twins whether you are breastfeeding or bottle feeding is a twin support pillow. These pillows are great for tandem breastfeeding as well as propping your twins up close to each other so that you are able to bottle feed them simultaneously.
